DAMO: Can a custom parameter be added to the Notes.ini through the Install process?

Technote Number: 1210980

Problem:
Starting in DAMO 6.5.5 a parameter can be added to the Notes.ini using the
Silent Install process; specifically, by adding a "-i" parameter to the
SETUPFILE.

For example:

-u Homer Simpson -s 1.11.11.111 -f c:\ids\homer.id -p 1234 -i
Homers_Parameter=XXXX

Please refer to the following document for detailed information on the Silent
Install process:

"How to perform a Silent Install of Domino Access for Microsoft Outlook 6.5.x"
Document #: 1170836

Excerpt from the Lotus Notes and Lotus Domino Release 6.5.5 MR fix list
(available at http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/lotus):

Install/Setup/Registration
SPR# NRBY69ULL9 - During a standard install, an Administrator can now add a
line to the Notes.ini, by using a -i parameter in the user's silent install
info file. (ex. "-i MyNotesIniVar=TRUE")

Refer to the Upgrade Central site for details on upgrading DAMO.
